1. Introduction

EB Unlocked Limited (trading as Unlocked Expertise) is not currently required to publish a statement under section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 because its annual turnover is below the applicable statutory threshold, subject to ongoing review.

We publish this statement voluntarily as part of our commitment to responsible business practices and trusted public-sector delivery.

2. Our organisation and business model

EB Unlocked Limited operates Unlocked Expertise, a digital mentoring platform that connects businesses with experienced mentors. We are a UK-based company registered in England and Wales (company number 15905257), headquartered in Newcastle upon Tyne.

Our services are delivered through a combination of our technology platform and a network of professional mentors. We also work with organisations and public-sector commissioners to deliver funded mentoring programmes.

3. Our supply chain

Our supply chain consists primarily of:

  • Professional mentors — experienced individuals who deliver mentoring sessions through the platform
  • Technology and cloud infrastructure providers — including Amazon Web Services, Stripe, Twilio and Resend
  • Professional services suppliers — including legal, accounting and insurance providers

Our supply chain is relatively short and predominantly UK-based or sourced from established international technology companies.

4. Risk assessment

Given the nature of our business — a digital platform using professional mentors and established technology providers — the risk of modern slavery and human trafficking within our direct operations and supply chain is assessed as low.

Our mentors are experienced professionals who engage voluntarily. Our technology providers are multinational companies with their own modern slavery policies and compliance programmes. We do not operate in sectors, geographies or supply chains typically associated with higher modern slavery risk.

We remain vigilant and will reassess our risk profile as our business grows and our supply chain evolves.

5. Our expectations of mentors and suppliers

We expect all mentors and suppliers working with Unlocked to:

  • Comply with all applicable laws, including the Modern Slavery Act 2015
  • Not use forced, bonded or involuntary labour in any form
  • Treat workers and subcontractors fairly and with respect for their fundamental rights
  • Report any concerns about modern slavery or human trafficking to us immediately

6. Reporting concerns

If you have any concerns about modern slavery or human trafficking in connection with Unlocked or our supply chain, please contact us at support@unlockedexpertise.com. All reports will be investigated confidentially. You can also report concerns to the Modern Slavery Helpline on 08000 121 700.

7. Governance and review

This statement is approved by the directors of EB Unlocked Limited and will be reviewed annually.
