Environmental Commitment

EB Unlocked Limited (trading as Unlocked Expertise) is a digital-first business. We recognise our responsibility to minimise our environmental impact and are committed to operating sustainably as our business grows. This statement sets out our current approach and commitments.

Unlocked Expertise is designed as a remote-first mentoring platform. Our service model supports environmental responsibility by:

• Delivering mentoring sessions via video call, reducing the need for business travel
• Operating a fully digital platform — no printed materials, physical products or physical service delivery are required
• Enabling mentors and businesses to connect across geographic boundaries without travel

Our platform is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS), which has committed to powering its operations with 100% renewable energy and reaching net-zero carbon emissions by 2040. We host in the eu-west-1 (Ireland) region, one of the most efficient and sustainably powered AWS regions.

As a small, digital business, our operational footprint is limited. We:

• Operate primarily remotely, reducing commuting and office energy use
• Use digital communication and collaboration tools rather than physical materials
• Minimise unnecessary business travel

As our business grows, we are committed to:

• Reviewing our environmental impact regularly and identifying areas for improvement
• Considering environmental factors when selecting suppliers and infrastructure providers
• Providing additional environmental reporting (including carbon data) where required for public-sector contracts
• Being transparent about the limits of our current environmental monitoring and not making claims we cannot substantiate

We do not currently publish a formal Carbon Reduction Plan or claim to have measured our total emissions. We will develop these capabilities as the scale and complexity of our operations warrant it.
