3. Accessible service design
We design the Unlocked platform to be accessible to the widest possible audience. This includes:
- Working towards WCAG 2.2 Level AA compliance for our website and platform
- Offering remote mentoring through video to reduce geographical barriers
- Supporting users who need alternative formats or reasonable adjustments
- Responding to accessibility feedback through our Accessibility Statement
4. Respectful participation
All users of the platform — businesses, mentors and programme participants — are expected to treat each other with respect, courtesy and professionalism. Discriminatory, harassing or exclusionary behaviour is not tolerated and may result in removal from the platform in accordance with our terms and conditions.
5. An inclusive mentor network
We are committed to building a diverse mentor network that reflects the breadth of experience, background and perspective in the UK business community. We actively welcome mentors from all backgrounds and work to ensure our recruitment, onboarding and matching processes do not create unnecessary barriers to participation.
6. Monitoring and improvement
Where lawful and appropriate, we may collect and analyse anonymised diversity data to understand the reach and inclusiveness of our services and to identify areas for improvement. We will be transparent about any data collection of this nature and will only process such data in compliance with data protection legislation.
7. Raising concerns
If you experience or witness discrimination, harassment or exclusion in connection with the Unlocked platform, please raise this through our Complaints Policy. All concerns will be investigated promptly and confidentially.
